2007 Recap
CreativeFeed creates results for start-ups and other entrepreneurial companies. In 2007, there were a lot of results:
- For Sonim Technologies: we devised and managed the international marketing program that launched the XP1, the world’s toughest GSM phone. Sonim scaled its revenues from $5 to $12m in a single year, earning us the honor of becoming Sonim’s CMO and agency of record. Additionally, CreativeFeed is managing the design and marketing Sonim’s next product line.
- For AFP, the global news service, we helped define and market a remarkable new start-up, Fuel by AFP, and its first product, “Deadline,” on Facebook. Deadline was an historic milestone in social media. For the 1st time, the 24/7 torrent of stories (the wire) from one of the most respected global news organization was shaped into game play, entertainment, and information delivered by technology that is entirely organic to social media. CreativeFeed is now developing applications for Deadline for advertisers and media companies.
- In the notoriously difficult mobile marketing space, CreativeFeed facilitated the introduction of SnapTell, an image-recognition cell phone based technology based in Silicon Valley, to advertisers and publishers in NYC. We helped develop a blog for the CEO to establish SnapTell as a leader in the industry. We call this technique, Managing The ConversationTM, and a number of our clients take advantage of it.
- As the “Bridge Between Silicon Valley and Madison Avenue” we helped Snapvine, a widely adopted and growing-fast social media technology, connect with advertisers eager to reach SnapVine users. These introductions produced numerous introductions, several RFP’s, and a recent campaign with Volvo.
- For Danoo, a Kleiner Perkins backed and run local media network based in San Francisco, CreativeFeed was asked to join the Board of Advisors in the course of creating the company’s identity, marketing materials and launch strategy.
- Netto, a children’s furniture manufacturer, began Managing The ConversationTM to change the organic search results for the company. After only 6 weeks, the first page of search results produced exactly the messaging that the CEO required.
- CreativeFeed successfully launched its own ShareYourLook.com, a global online community where the fashion faithful, share ideas, looks and positive commentary.
- In mid-December, CreativeFeed was invited to join the NYC Museum of Modern Art’s (MOMA) Board of Directors to help develop marketing ideas and opportunities.
- CreativeFeed assisted different advertising and media agencies with their prospective and current clients (luxury brands, mostly), enhancing pitches with strategy and tactical ideas on-line, offline, in social media and with influencers.
- Though we are big believers in keeping it small, we opened our 2nd office (now we are in SF and NYC), bolstered our talented and tireless team, and racked up an amazing amount of frequent flier miles between New York and San Francisco.
Thank you to all of our clients, partners, and friends for an outstanding 2007. We look forward to a happy, healthy, prosperous 2008 for all!  Arthur, Michael and the CF Team
